Spiritual Being Practice

“Practice Makes Perfect” Mothers everywhere. 
 
I realize that I am at choice for everything that is going to happen in my future.  The eternal Now is my point of power and this is the moment when I can put my spiritual understanding into practice.
 
What sort of spiritual practice is the best to take on?
 
The type of spiritual practice that you engage yourself in is up to you; there are many ways and many disciplines that one can encounter and act on, but what about practicing being a Spiritual Being; practice being a spiritual being who is living in this physical world.
 
When you are ‘being you’ there are numerous times that you can practice being a spiritual being.
 
Practice breathing on purpose and remembering who you are.  
Practice asking yourself how and what you are feeling.
Practice thinking about what do you prefer to feel.
Practice stating your intentions and affirming those things in your life.
Practice finding things to feel good about; practice finding things that feel better when you observe them.
 
We are never going to get it all done, we are always changing, growing, evolving and we are going about it perfectly, all the time.
 
Now is the perfect time to practice!
 
Today I practice changing my thinking by remembering to practice being a Spiritual Being. I practice changing the mental causes of my conditions by daily spiritual practice.

Cleaning The Closets Of Our Lives

What is that thing that is within us that is so powerful that our very freedom or bondage lies in the balance?  The power of our thought.
 
Today you are going to come upon something that you wish to change.  Pretend it is this desire for a clean and organized closet.  When you think about the closet and clutter, what happens?  

Usually we negate the good feelings and we chastise ourselves for not getting to done sooner… we start to feel really bad and we ‘mind-whip’ ourselves for letting it get so out of hand and then the phone rings, and we are off on another tangent, forgetting about the closet.  Until the next time…
 
In the moment that you think of cleaning the closet, you put out a desire for it to be clean and organized, then you proceed to beat yourself up for not having done it, making false promise about doing it and then you distract your thought to something else to forget about it.  
 
Try this next time.  Notice the closet (oh here we are again!) and you change your mind and affirm that in truth, empty; it’s a perfectly clean closet!  

Affirm how much you love it when closets are cleaned and organized and then do ONE THING to make it so.  If you can take the time right now to do some cleaning and organizing, great.  If not, schedule a half hour to do so in the immediate future.  
 
See how great that can work for you! What else can you apply that to?
 
I go forth looking at the tiny things I want to change and then make small changes for the good.

Receiving My Good

If we can’t accept small gifts from loved ones, how can we expect to accept the gifts of Spirit and the Grandness of the Universe?

I have pondered and thunk why my consciousness insists that I live a life that is an apparently a spiritual a no-no.  I seem to be always out of money and lately (for a long time, now) I’ve been experiencing late bills, some bills not even being paid, struggle with money, yadda, yadda, yadda (me and a lot of others).

Yet I FEEL abundant, I FEEL loved, I FEEL JOYFUL and happy and free more and more of the time.  I don’t feel poor, I feel abundant in many ways!

What is up with that? I don’t know.  

But what I do know that one of the (many) gifts I’ve received with this experience is learning how to receive and I realized how really difficult receiving my good has been all my life.  What I know is that there are many, many people that have this challenge…receiving their good.  

I think the teaching of ‘giving and receiving’ is not about giving at all and I really want to spread the message that we need to focus on receiving and accepting our good.  I firmly know that when we realize that we have more than we need, we will give, but this time in joy and good feelings!

So, it’s as simple as practicing receiving our Good; here is a nifty trick to remember.  Ponder how awesome YOU feel when you get to give Good to another and then remember that the person that just gave something to you will feel that good when you just receive!!

Right now I receive my good with appreciation! I allow my good; I receive my good!  Hot Dog! That feels good!  Today I practice receiving, I say “thank you” and it’ is good!

Getting The Good

The best way to take your thoughts from ones of negative to positive influence is to start looking around your present environment and just find things that bring good thoughts to your mind. 

If I find myself in a mood that is less than joyful, and I am aware that where the flow of my thoughts and feelings are going to attract to me things that are not what I really want, I realize that I need to look for reasons to feel good. 

As you allow yourself to think about things in your life that you really do appreciate you will  realize in a few moments time, you are feeling better and not resisting thoughts that attract a greater expression of good in your life. 

You will find it easy to appreciate the good around you and thereby attract more of that good when  you turn your thoughts to things about the situation or condition that feel better when you think about them.
   
Today I focus on things in my life that I do appreciate, and I let my mind wander to good things around me.  It is as simple as looking for things that are joyful to me and then expanding my mind to include it in my vibration.

Firmly Affirming

Affirmations are a powerful way to fine-tune your vibration to a point where you are attracting the things that you have firmly decided that you want to experience!
     
Speaking to yourself in an affirming way is another way to keep your thoughts, therefore your vibration, in tune with any greater intention you’ve set for yourself.

Turn toward the things that you expect to happen.   Deny the fear; it is unreal. See a broader vision and trust that your good is coming to you in unlimited amounts.  

Practice asking yourself how you feel in any given situation, identifying your connection or disconnect, and then affirm what it is that you prefer to feel in that situation.  

These are some of the things all of us do on this journey of affirmative Self-Love.  We are the explorers of our minds, hearts and bodies.  We love ourselves first, and then we automatically love each other.  

Today I start with baby steps in affirming a higher love for myself and in turning my thoughts to ideas pure positive connection to my Source!
